Other Charges
Registration fee - £30 N/A if funded
Admin charge fee - £5 (this is used to cover if you need extra copies of paperwork already sent to you to pay for ink and paper used)
Consumables Fee - £1.00 - This is our per hour fee for funded. This is to cover snacks, consumables and the extras we provide such as trips and forest school and the cost of the online learning journey. For those who are not funded this is a daily charge..
Early/Late fine - £5 (This is for repeatably early drop offs or late collections to cover having t pay staff extra to stay behind after their finish time to cover our ratio's
Late payment fee - £20 We send invoices via the app and payments are expected with 7 days. we administer the fee after 7 days and then £2 per a day after.
Funding
15 Hours Government Funding
The term after your child turns 3, your entitled to government funding sessions at a nursery setting.
These sessions are either 15 hours term time only (5x 3hr sessions or 3x 5hr sessions) funding or 11 hours stretched funding 1x 5hr session + 2x 3hr sessions) for 51 weeks of the year.
We offer a limited number of completely free spaces (please contact us for details on our free funded spaces) if you wish to use your funding entitlement towards your childcare costs you will need to decide how to spread your hours.
1. Term time or 51 weeks of the year.
2.Choose your sessions up to the entitlement. (minimum of 2 sessions weekly)
Mon-Fri 9:30 - 2:30 (5 hrs)
Mon-Fri 9 - 12 (3 hrs)
Mon-Fri 12 - 3 (3 hrs)
3. Add additional hours at hourly rate to fit with your day
4.Choose our homecooked meals or provide a healthy cold lunchbox. Lunch costs £2.60 for a 2 course hot meal.
5.Provide us with your funding details to confirm your booking.
6.For these funded sessions there is a low charge of 50p per hour the rest is paid for by the government.
30 Hours Government Funding
If you are working you maybe entitled to 30 hours Government funding. Check on the childcare choices website for eligibility. To claim these hours at Smiley you need to choose which sessions you need from the 15 hours funded section and then add any extra hours your require. You can use your extra 15 hours funding term time only equalling 30 hours funded by the government OR spread through the year and have 22 hours per a week for 51 weeks of the year. You will only pay the extra £2.60 for the homecooked meals and the low cost 50p per hour for these sessions.
